Google, the famous (and the only) search engine used in today's world is probably the most critical component of our daily lives. It's importance has reached such a height that the word "google" has become a verb, a part of our daily vocabulary, for example, someone says, "google that xyz thing". Gone are the days when people went to the library to read books to find information, now everything is available online through google which I believe is a blessing to mankind because it saves heaps of time and energy. I can't imagine spending a day without google.
Google was founded on September 4, 1998 by Larry Page and Sergey Brin. These geniuses came up with a complex algorithm that forever changed people's lives and the way the world ran. It is a technological revolution. It's funny because I had to "google" them. According to me, they're the saviors of millions of students, teachers, researchers and the common population. It provides information within a few milliseconds. In my opinion, it's almost impossible for me to spend an hour without google, let alone a day.
What do you think? Are you resourceful enough to avoid using google for a day? Are we becoming too dependent on technology? comment your thoughts.
